Nordic Fashion Biennale 2014 will be held in the heart of Europe, Museum Angewandte Kunst Frankfurt next March.

Launched by the Nordic House, Reykjavik in 2009, including more than 60 designers, artists, musicians and speakers from the Nordic countries, the second NFB was held in Seattle, US in 2011.

The 2014 edition of the biennale will be curated by the photographer duo Sarah Cooper & Nina Gorfer, who have travelled extensively the North Atlantic Region in the past few months, working closely with designers and artists participating in the event.

Here are a few wonderful behind the scenes shots from their travels, enjoy!

Amazingly beautiful, isn’t it? Below, Jóhanna of Kría Jewelry together with her daughters upstate New York.

The Nordic Fashion Biennale will feature a three-day program with panel-discussions, performances, workshops and more. For more information on the event, take a look at their website here and for up-to-date information and more behind the scenes shots, be sure to follow their Facebook, too.
