What is your favorite Icelandic design and who would you like to give it to this Christmas?

Since it is Christmas and freezing outside, I would definitely pick the Dalvik Sled designed by Dagur Óskarsson.
The design is a great modern take on our old Icelandic heritage, playfulness and craftmanship. The sled captures feelings and emotions of the designer’s hometown in a manner that is easy to understand.

I would give the sled to my 7-year-old brother, because he likes nothing more than to play outside in the snow these days.

And who will be the next one to partake?

This December, every day up until the 24th, we will ask a local designer the following questions:

What is your favorite Icelandic design?
Who would you like to give it to this Christmas?
Who should be the next to answer these questions?
