At DesignMarch, Kraum showed 5 new designs of the original Icelandic pancake pan.

The original pan is produced since 1950 by the company Málmsteypan Hella, which is also going to produce the new designs.

To make things clear, the pan-part is the same as in the old days just the handle has changed and is now available in 5 amazing designs. The idea behind was that the pan, as an original Icelandic kitchen tool, is also a beautiful craft item and now also the handle is designed and produced with love.

The 5 different pan designs are from the 5 designers: Tinna Gunnarsdóttir, Sonja Bent, Ingibjörg Hanna Bjarnadóttir, Stefán Pétur Sólveigarson and Steinunn Vala Sigfúsdóttir.

Also new and now available at Kraum are lamps designed by Sigurður Már Helgason. The lamps are made of glass and wood. The glass design is from Ólöf Davíðsdóttir and the lamp- stand is already known from the chair “Fuzzy”, an earlier design of Sigurður Már.
