In this post we’ll show you four exhibitions that were launched in the centre of Reykjavik during DesignMarch.

All four exhibitions were filled with people enjoying their conversations about the works with each other, and also with the designers.

Here are some pictures from the openings.

Product designer Maria Kristin Jónsdóttir created a new line of accessories. Her amazing works were inspired by the harsh and magnificent landscape.

Cooking ceramics produced by the collaboration project carried through ceramic students from Reykjavik School of Visual Art and ceramic company Kahla.

As we mentioned before, the heartwarming works created by the four international designers Max Lamb, Þórunn Árnadóttir, Julia Lohmann and Gero Grundmann are exhibited in Spark Design Space.

In addition, a thirty minute documentary filmed by Kanna Sigurðardóttir & Sebastian Ziegler was shown as a part of the exhibition. The projection booth was filled with warm applause during the whole evening.

One hour later from these three, another jewelry exhibition opened at the design shop, Aurum. The new jewelry collection inspired by the texture and form of Icelandic fish was getting a great deal of attention.

If you have missed the openings, don’t worry! These exhibitions will be taken places through 27th to 30th.

Come to get the first impression, and tell us that “YOU ARE HERE”!
