As promised, tadaa – may we present, the Nordic Design Lunch #2!
We started in Stockholm during Stockholm Design Week 2014, when we joined our forces with Tanja, Mikko and the rest of the lovely people over at Design Forum Finland and invited Nordic design actors for lunch at the beautiful Konstakademien.
With the event, we wanted to open the discussion about practical level collaboration.
We were so happy with the outcomes that we set the table for another Nordic Design Lunch, this time back home, here in Reykjavik during DesignMarch 2014.
The choice of venue was obvious: The Nordic House, a Nordic culture centre designed by the Finnish architect Alvar Aalto.
As in Sweden, we filled an empty gallery space with old school overhead projectors, and with help from our always amazing live illustrator Rán Flygenring we decorated the white gallery walls with the discussion topics as the event went on.
We were so happy with the outcomes and look forward to continuing the process. Here are a few images from the event. We hope you will like them as much as we do!
If you attended the lunch, thank you for joining us!
Don’t hesitate to continue the discussion below in the comment field. If you didn’t attend, worry not – stay tuned, there are more lunches in the making!
