This time around, we met in Helsinki during the 10th anniversary edition of Helsinki Design Week. Tanja, our collaborator from the co-host organization Design Forum Finland along with Timo Salli invited us and our guests to their light ship Vinga in the archipelago of Helsinki. The weather was amazing, the wild food treats cooked up by chef Sami Tallberg tasty and the super talented Eili-Kaija Kuusniemi live illustrated the event – what is there not to like?

Chef Sami Tallberg specializes in wild herbs, and uses local, seasonal ingredients in his cooking. For Vinga, he used eg. sea buckthorn, chantarelles, cucumbers and red cabbage paired with micro brewery beers to create a late afternoon feast for us.
Eili-Kaija Kuusniemi live illustrated the event, the people, the discussions – not to mention the treats, of course.
