Opened in 2007, Fishmarket is run by 29-year-old local star chef Hrefna Rósa Saetran of the Icelandic national culinary team.

The menu is Icelandic-Asian fusion – think sushi, meat from the Japanese robata grill and a notoriously tasty tasting menu featuring the best Icelandic ingredients with a modern twist.

The stylish decoration features dark wood, cosy lighting (lamps by Tom Dixon), fish skin covering the rails and bamboo on the walls.
