Fashion designer Linda Jóhannsdóttir is a 2013 graduate of the Iceland Academy of the Arts.

Her final collection mixes our interpretations of  the unwritten rules of society as women and men shape.

A modern collection based on clean surfaces, with focus on form and texture, the collection features semi unisex colors, such as mint grayish green and purple – the same colours that are traditionally used by Icelandic women when knitting for unborn babies if the don’t know the gender.

Here are a few beautiful close-ups of Jóhannsdóttir’s work, enjoy!

The project was exhibited at Reykjavik Art Museum in the LHÍ Student Show 2013. There was also a fashion show with collections by all graduating fashion designers.
