Produced by the Nordic House of ReykjavikNordic Fashion Biennale is a promotion platform for West Nordic fashion design.

The exhibition is curated by the photographer duo Cooper&Gorfer, who were commissioned to create a photographic exhibition interpreting fashion from Iceland, Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

The exhibition shows 11 one of a kind installations from the selected designers, alongside large scale photographic art works by Cooper & Gorfer. Here are a few tasters, amazingly beautiful, don’t you think? We cannot wait to see more!

The participating designers are Mundi (IS), STEiNUNN (IS), JÖR by GuðmundurJörundsson (IS), Kría (IS), Hrafnhildur Arnadòttir a.k.a. Shoplifter (IS), Guðrun & Guðrun (FOE), Barbara I Gongini (FOE), Rammatik (FOE), Bibi Chemnitz (GL), Najannguaq Lennert (GL), Nikolaj Kristensen, and Jessie Kleemann (GL).

The exhibition will premiere at the Museum Angewandte Kunst, Frankfurt on March 22 and it runs until  June 22.
